Top-notch equipment, super friendly staff, I recommend it.
New hope brakes and callipers fitted and callipers loose on the mount. Front wheel also not secured and front wheel nearly came off at 40mph in Chatel. Unfortunately they had a junior mechanic doing the work that resulted in a big delay and rework and should have checked everything. Not great for a 1000 Euro bill. Mechanic back home fixed it and no damage to me but not what you want with a new set up and investment
Best bike shop in morzine imo, full range of hope tech spares plus many other brands. Most important for is is fair workshop repair prices. My mate Chris had a spoke replaced, wheel made tubeless and a wheel re true done in an hour after he cased it badly on stand Em high step up. 37 euro so same as home and riding again pronto. He was really pleased they don't take the piss with magic morzine price tax, plus the owners are really cool too as it seems to be a family run business. Defo recommend 👍
Bad experience at fb freeride:
Out of 10 bikes rented, 3 had brake malfunctions. Overall, a day with friends was half-ruined.
We received an explanation that it was the ski lifts' fault.
Strangely, the other riders didn't have the same problem.
So I wouldn't recommend it, despite the bike being a good brand.
