I came to this shop because it has “freeride” in the name and I was looking for a spare part for my splitboard bindings. Unfortunately, I was quickly brushed off and told to “try a hardware store,” which was neither helpful nor realistic for this kind of equipment.
I’ve since noticed other reviews mentioning an unpleasant attitude from the boss, which sadly matched my experience.
In contrast, I went to ‘The Woods’ afterwards and had a completely different experience: helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to give advice. I highly recommend going there instead.

Wow! What a great hire shop. Friendly, informative and professional. The equipment was new and the position of the shop ideal.
My son broke his binding when someone collided with him. They repaired it in 10mins and didn't charge. We will be recommending this shop to all our friends that go to Morzine and we'll return next year for sure.
